Xam’s Daily Gems:

Ayo Dosunmu Over 1.5 Made 3s -145 DraftKings

Dosunmu didn’t hit a single 3-pointer in his last game and he’s going to come into this game on a mission! The Wizards are arguably the worst defensive team in the league, giving up 123 points per game on the year. Just over a week ago, Ayo shot 7 3s and hit 4 of them against the Wizards on the road. He shot 14-22 overall which showed his ability to hit any shot he wanted to and his confidence to shoot that night. Simply put, the Bulls need every win they can get right now. They’re only up 2.5 games against the Hawks for the 9 seed and will want to ensure they have a home game in the Play-In Tournament. The Wizards look like they’re just playing out the strings of a lost season. Dosunmu has attempted at least 4 3s in every game since the 8th of February! He’s a confident shooter and Washington’s terrible defense will not dissuade him from shooting. He’s hitting over 36% of his shots from beyond the arc in his last 10 games which implies he will need to attempt 6 3s to hit the Over. However, he should be more efficient against a terrible Wizards defense that he just dominated over a week ago.

DeMar DeRozan Over 35.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists -115 DraftKings

In his last 10 games, DeMar DeRozan is averaging over 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He’s having an impact in a variety of ways. He’s also been shooting it efficiently, hitting exactly 50% of his shots in the last 10 games. In his last game against a solid Celtics defense, DeRozan went for 28 points on 12-19 shooting and added an impressive 15 rebounds and assists. He’s cleared this number in 7 of his last 11 games. There’s definitely the potential for a blowout, given the giant spread on this game and the Wizards seemingly complete inability and unwillingness to play too many close games, and especially so on the road. However, if the Wizards can keep the Bulls engaged in this game, DeRozan should be able to do whatever he wants. He only took 7 shots in the game against Washington last week, but still added 10 rebounds and assists. If he takes his usual allotment of shots, he should help lead the way in a game the Bulls desperately need.
