Xam’s Daily Gems:

Houston/TCU Over 51.5 Points -105 BetMGM 1 Unit

To say the Houston Cougars have had a tough time of it recently would be an understatement. They haven’t scored a single point in the last 2 weeks! However, TCU’s defense has been a work in progress this season, as they have given up 27 or more points in 4 of their 5 games this season. TCU’s offense has been nothing short of AWESOME, never scoring less than 34 points themselves this season. Quarterback Josh Hoover has the Horned Frogs ROLLING offensively and there’s little reason to think Houston has the capability to keep them down. Quite frankly, the biggest issue with this Play is that the Cougars roll over in the first half and don’t put any sort of a fight. TCU has weapons all over the place. Cam Cook, Jack Bech, and Eric McAlister are all ELITE offensive players. If Donovan Smith and Stacy Sneed can help Houston produce ANY offense, we SHOULD be in store for a high scoring affair tonight.

Michigan State/Oregon Over 51.5 Points -118 FanDuel 1 Unit

Oregon has a high-powered offense that goes through Dillon Gabriel. The Ducks have been BRILLIANT offensively lately, dropping 83 points against Oregon State and UCLA. Ohio State just dropped 38 points on the Spartans last week on the road, and they could’ve scored more if they wanted to. There’s little reason to think MSU will be able to do ANYTHING to slow down Dillon Gabriel, Tez Johnson, Jordan James, and all of their friends. The biggest question will be what the Spartans can do on offense. One thing they have in their favor is that Oregon faces Ohio State next week, so Oregon may be looking ahead a little bit in this matchup. Can MSU QB Aidan Chiles deliver anything? That is the open question on this Play. If MSU can do ANYTHING on the offensive side of the ball, Oregon should take care of the rest against a terrible MSU defense.
