Texas/Michigan Over 41.5 Points -110 DraftKings 1 Unit
PLAY OF THE DAY!
Texas comes into this game with things to prove, as they believe they are CFB Playoff contenders. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is playing at a high level and has a ton of weapons to utilize in the passing game, headlined by Isaiah Bond. Michigan still boasts one of the top defenses in the country, so Ewers will have his hands full. Texas will need to be able to run the ball consistently to keep pressure off their star QB, so expect the two headed monster of Jaydon Blue and Jerrick Gibson to be at it again today. Despite going on the road to play arguably the best defense in the country, Texas boasts one of the best OFFENSES in the country! Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is a veteran coach who’s been in big games before and will have his team ready to go! The key to this Play will likely be what Michigan can do offensively. They struggled last week against Fresno State, and Texas’s defense will present its own challenges. Starting quarterback Davis Warren only passed for 118 yards, so he will need to be A LOT better if Michigan wants to pull off the HUGE upset today. Expect to see a HEAVY dose of running back Kalel Mullings in this game as Michigan tries to pound the rock to keep pressure off their young QB. Don’t be surprised to see a Wildcat like package with Alex Orji as well, who had 5 carries for 32 yards last week. Getting tight end Colston Loveland involved early and often will be KEY! If Michigan can do ANYTHING offensively, the Longhorns have the talent and leadership to do the rest and score a BIG WIN in Ann Arbor!
