The Devils have been playing good hockey recently, notwithstanding a blowout loss at home a couple of nights ago. This is a team that has playoff aspirations, and they’re getting healthier. They’ve shown they can play with the big boys in the league, as evidenced by their win over the Bruins last week. The Flyers have won 6 of their last 7 games, but 4 of those wins have been by exactly 1 goal. The Deivls have been much better defensively than the Flyers this year, and even without Dougie Hamilton, the defense should be able to hold up. The Flyers are giving up on average 3.37 goals per game, and the Devils have arguably the best Power Play unit in the league right now. The Devils have the offense to compete. If they can get some more consistent goalie play, they should be able to get the job done tonight.
