Another day…another Grand Slam!

Iga Świątek started the 2023 French Open as the No. 1 ranked women’s player in the world and finished the open in the same place.  Świątek won her third French Open title and fourth Grand Slam this past Saturday, continuing a run of dominance that’s rarely been matched.  The 22-year-old Świątek is the youngest women’s tennis player to win four Grand Slam titles since 20-year-old Serena Williams won her fourth in 2002.  Świątek is now 4-0 in Grand Slam finals, joining Roger Federer, Monica Seles and Naomi Osaka as the only players to win their first four major tournament finals.  She’s held the World No. 1 ranking since May 2022, with three of her major titles coming on clay.  At only 22 years old, Świątek has her entire career ahead of her. As good as she is now, we are excited to see what she can accomplish as she continues to grow as a player and competitor.
