Xam’s Daily Gems:
Saints/Rams Over 45 Points -112
Both the Rams and Saints have been scoring proficiently the last few weeks. The Rams and Saints have both scored 24 or more points in each of their last 3 games. Kyren Williams, Alvin Kamara, Cooper Kupp, and Puca Nacua have all been playing well throughout this stretch. Both teams have gotten healthier too, which helps. Matthew Stafford has the Rams operating efficiently. He has 12 TD passes in his last 4 games and only 1 turnover in that stretch. After a tough stretch, Derek Carr has thrown 5 TD passes in the last 2 weeks. With both teams getting healthy, we could be in store for a shootout in LA tonight.
Cooper Kupp Over 5.5 Receptions -160
Kupp and Stafford have returned to form the last few weeks. He has 26 targets over the last 3 games, and 22 catches. Last week he had 8 catches on 8 targets. Him and Stafford have a connection that few others have, and teams haven’t shown a consistent ability to stop them. On a short week, expect Stafford to target his favorite weapon early and often.
Alvin Kamara Over 86.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards -114
Even with Chris Olave returning from injury, Kamara is the engine that makes this offense go. He has double digit carries in 9 of his 11 games this year, and 7 games with 14 or more carries. He also has a heavy workload in the passing game. He had 5 catches on 5 targets last week, and has at least 3 catches in every game this year! The Rams have a strong pass rush, which means Kamara can be utilized to negate that in the quick passing game. With his speed, he can take any pass or run to the house. He will have his usual heavy workload on a short week on the road.
Karl-Anthony Towns Over 21.5 Points -120
Towns has dominated against the Lakers in recent matchups. The Lakers haven’t been the same team since the In Season Tournament, and they’re on a back-to-back tonight. This is a game that could feature A TON of points, so KAT should have his opportunities tonight. He had 23 points on 14 attempts yesterday, and with that kind of volume, he should be able to clear 21.5 tonight. He’s a proven scorer playing at home against a team struggling defensively who’s on a back-to-back.
