Xam’s Daily Gems:
Falcons Money Line -130 FanDuel 3 Units
The Falcons have been playing some competitive football recently, going on the road and beating the Eagles, playing the reigning Super Bowl Champion Chiefs to a close 5 point loss at home, and beating the Saints on a last second field goal last week. Now they host the Buccaneers, who are coming off an impressive demolition of the Eagles. However, they did get blown out by the Broncos at home, so there’s still some things they have to clean up. The Buccaneers are due for a bit of a letdown, and the Falcons have been extremely competitive at home. Expect a heavy dose of Kirk Cousins and Bijan Robinson tonight. The Bucs got off to a great start last week due to an explosive offense and Eagles turnovers. However, the Falcons have given up 22 or less points in their 3 prior games before the Saints game. Kirk Cousins will need to protect the ball in this game. However, their offense has picked up and Kirk is playing with confidence. If Atlanta’s defense can step up, Atlanta SHOULD get themselves to 3-2 on the year!
Buccaneers/Falcons Over 43.5 Points -110 FanDuel 3 Units
Both teams have been playing well offensively. Tampa Bay just scored 33 points off the Eagles last week and scored 37 points in Week 1. While their better offensive performances have come at home, they have ELITE weapons. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin form one of the more underrated pass catching duos in the league and Rachaad White is able to pound the rock and catch the ball out of the backfield. The Falcons ALSO boast several offensive weapons, highlighted by Kirk Cousins and star running back Bijan Robinson. The Falcons had their best offensive performance of their season last week, putting up 26 points and 315 yards against a quality Saints defense. On a short week, BOTH offenses will be ready to go!
Kirk Cousins Over 229.5 Passing Yards -110 3 Units
Cousins has gone Over this number in each of his last 3 starts, which include games against tough defensive opponents like the Chiefs and Saints. Cousins is playing with A TON of confidence right now. In Tampa Bay’s only road game this year, Jared Goff shredded them, throwing for over 300 yards. Even Bo Nix threw for a respectable 216 yards against them, so quarterbacks have been able to find room to operate against them. Look for Cousins to exploit the short passing game, and he has 2 running backs he can dump the ball off to as well. Cousins will have A LOT of options in this game. If the offensive line can protect him, expect Cousins to come out firing in a HUGE divisional matchup! These are the EXACT types of games that the Falcons got Cousins for, and he WILL deliver!
